The Kind and Generous Lord

Once upon a time, in a lush, verdant valley, lived a Lord whose heart was as big as his estate. This Lord, unlike any other, had a farm that was more than just land and crops; it was home to animals of all kinds, living together as one big, happy family. Every day, he made sure his four-legged and winged friends had everything they needed – from the freshest water to the greenest grass.

The Hardworking Animals

On this farm, no day was lazy. Each animal had its own special job that helped keep the place running like a well-oiled machine. Bees buzzed from flower to flower, making sweet honey. Cows spent their mornings grazing, producing creamy milk. Chickens busied themselves laying eggs, while pigs lent their hooves for plowing. Working side by side, they all contributed to the farm’s success.

The Grateful Animals

Thanks to the Lord’s endless kindness, every animal felt a deep sense of gratitude. They followed his lead with loyalty, living together without quarrel. If one stumbled, another was there to help up. This spirit of cooperation made their bond unbreakable and their home a true paradise.

The Cunning Devil

Not far from the lush valleys and the Lord’s prosperous farm, jealousy brewed in the heart of the cunning Devil. Watching from the shadows of the dark forest, he concocted a plan to disrupt the peace and happiness of the farm. His mind whirred with malicious thoughts, eager to spread discontent and chaos among the animals that had known nothing but the Lord’s kindness.

The Devil’s First Trick

Disguised as the Lord, the Devil slithered into the farm under the cloak of twilight. With a voice dripping with deceit, he whispered lies to the animals. “Your Lord has abandoned his care for you,” he said with a wicked smile. “From now on, you’re free to do as you wish, no longer bound by his commands.” The animals, tricked by his disguise, fell into confusion and discord. Arguments broke out, and the unity once shared was shattered by mistrust and suspicion.

The Devil’s Second Trick

As night deepened, the Devil visited the Lord in his dreams, taking on a form of wisdom and concern. “Your animals have turned against you,” he warned, his voice a concoction of falsehoods. “They neither respect nor obey you anymore.” Stirred by these troubling visions, the Lord awoke with a heavy heart, wrestling with disbelief and sorrow over the imagined betrayal of his loyal animals.

The Devil’s Third Trick

But the Devil wasn’t done yet. With his heart set on ruining the harmony of the farm, he approached the animals once more. This time, he promised a life of freedom and endless joy in the dark forest. “Away from the Lord, you’ll find true happiness,” he coaxed. Seduced by these promises, the animals followed him into the depths of the forest, leaving behind the farm that had been their home and sanctuary.

The Lord’s Mercy

Realizing his beloved animals were tricked, the Lord’s heart softened. “I can’t be mad at them; they were deceived,” he thought. So, off he went, deep into the dark forest, his lantern lighting the path ahead. His mission was clear: to find his animals and bring them back home. Despite the shadows and eerie sounds, the Lord’s determination never wavered. His love for the animals was stronger than any fear.

The Animals’ Return

Deep in the forest, the Lord finally found his animals, cold, scared, and regretful. “My dear friends,” he said, his voice full of forgiveness, “you’ve been tricked by the Devil. He wanted to destroy our happiness. But we belong together, on our farm, where we take care of each other.” Hearing these words, tears filled the animals’ eyes. They realized their mistake and followed the Lord back to the farm, their hearts filled with hope and gratitude.

The Happy Ending

Back at the farm, life blossomed once more. The animals worked even harder than before, their bonds strengthened by the ordeal. Laughter and joy filled the air, and the farm prospered as never before. The Lord, watching over his animals with a gentle smile, knew they had learned a valuable lesson. They would no longer fall for the Devil’s tricks, for they understood the power of unity and trust. Together, they had overcome darkness, and their happiness was their greatest reward.
